Q. How do i order 60 meters?
If you require 60 meters then simply add '60' into the quantity box and we will supply it in on a 60 meter reel.
The wire is priced on a per meter basis but will always be supplied in 1 single length
Q. What does 7x7 mean?
This simply means that the wire is made up with 7 strands, each one of those strands is made from 7 smaller strands
Q: What is the overall diameter of 2mm 7x7 stainless wire rope?
The diameter of 2mm wire rope is 2mm
Q. Would you recommend 7x7 stainless steel wire rope for balustrade?
7x7 strand wire rope can be used for wire balustrade but we would recommend a 1x19 strand
Q. Can i bend this wire back and make loops?
Yes, this wire is flexible upto 4mm diameter, 5mm diameter and thicker becomes quite stiff so we would recommend a 7x19 flexible strand for larger diameter wires
Q. What is the lead time if i order this wire today?
Usually 1-2 working days
Q: Is this wire rope marine grade?
Yes it is A4-AISI 316 marine grades stainless steel wire rope
Q: Will this wire be reeled onto a wooden reel?
Usually yes, but this depends on how much wire rope you order, if it is a small amount (eg. 15 meters) it will not be on a reel, also smaller diameters maybe supplied on smaller cardboard reel which have a steel center
Q: What do i do if i require specific cut lengths?
Simply leave us a note on checkout and we will do this for you within reason (see below)
