DIY Guard Rail Wire Kits
Stainless Direct supply reliable boat guard rail wire kits.
What you get:
- 4-6mm 7x7 stainless wire rope coated in white PVC
- 1 x right handed DIY swage jaw terminal
- 1 x left handed DIY swage jaw terminal
End fittings are supplied with adjustable opposite handed threads.

- The thread can be screwed out to create tension
- Jaw has a 7.5mm clearance with a removable clevis pin
Fitting instructions
- Strip 40mm of the PVC coating off the end steel wire rope using a sharp blade
- Attach the fitting to the end of the wire and tighten down the 3 grub screws using a 3mm allen key (not supplied)
- Use our steel wire rope cutters to cut the guard rail to your exact length
- Repeat the process on the opposite end
