Q: How do you order?
This long link stainess steel chain is sold on a 'per metre' basis. If you want 20 meters simply put 20 into the quantity box and it will be sent in a single 20 meter length - simple!
Q: If i order 20 metres of this stainless steel chain will it be supplied in one single length?
Yes, our chain is priced per metre but supplied in a single linear length, so if you order 20 qty it will be supplied as a single length of 20 metres
Q: I want 4 lengths of 5 metres but the basket adds the quantities together, how do i ensure i get the chain cut?
The website will add the quantities together, simply leave us a note at step 2 at checkout requesting the chain to be cut there (see below)
Q: What is the lead time if i order the chain?
1-2 working days

Yes, it is A4 - AISI 316 stainless steel and suitable for marine use
Q; Can i cut the chain myself?
Yes, we sell chain / bolt cutters or you can use an angle grinder (be careful)
Q: Is this short link chain suitable for anchoring?
Yes, it is perfect for anchoring and mooring
Q: Can I return this chain?
No, it is classed as a personalised item once we have cut it to your ordered length
Q: What does break load mean?
The break load outlines the chains performance, it is not a Working Load Limit so it should not be used for safety critical or lifting applications. The break load can not be certified. We do sell W.L.L rated grade 80 lifting chain here
